Medical induction isn't an option for you because you don't want to cause any harm to you or the child. You don't want to put your body at risk and you don't want to cause any damage to your child. Medical induction is scary and you aren't willing to take the risks involved. You want to induce labor yourself but you just don't know how.

Whilst the pressures of pregnancy can weigh heavily on mothers, and feel like an ever increasing burden the longer the pregnancy goes on, it should be remembered that life after the birth won't get any easier. You'll be kept awake throughout the night and day for several weeks after childbirth.

One of the common methods to induce labor at home is taking herbal tablets or tinctures, such as Blue or Black Cohosh. People, who have heard, somewhere, that these medicinal herbs can be used for inducing labor naturally, quite commonly recommend these herbs.

But other women feel differently and are more fazed by the idea of an epidural than the pain of labour.
